Overview
Light Code Labs uses customer and prospect information to provide website, sales, analytics, lead management, automation, communication, onboarding, support, and account services. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we handle SMS communications.
Information We Collect
- Contact information such as names, business names, email addresses, and phone numbers.
- Business information provided through forms, sales conversations, website previews, onboarding, and support requests.
- Public business information we may review to prepare a website preview, consultation, audit, or sales call, such as websites, online listings, reviews, maps listings, and public social profiles.
- Lead and customer information processed through client systems we build or operate, including form submissions, service requests, appointment details, call details, SMS replies, and routing records.
- Usage, analytics, and technical information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our services.
- SMS opt in, opt out, delivery, reply, and consent records when text messaging is used.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide requested website previews, consultations, onboarding, support, and account services.
- To send one to one follow up messages that a contact requested or reasonably expects in a sales or service context.
- To build and operate websites, lead capture forms, form to SMS alerts, missed call replies, review requests, receptionist flows, CRM routing, reporting, and related business systems.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve Light Code Labs products and services.
- To comply with applicable legal, carrier, Twilio, A2P 10DLC, tax, payment, and communications requirements.
SMS and Phone Number Privacy
If you provide a phone number or agree to receive a text from Light Code Labs, we use that number only for the requested conversation, website preview, consultation, service update, support response, onboarding, or account related communication. Message and data rates may apply.
SMS consent and phone numbers are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers, such as Twilio, communications vendors, hosting vendors, and infrastructure vendors, only as needed to operate our services and deliver messages on our behalf.
Opting Out of SMS
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may also reply HELP for help or contact us directly. Opting out of SMS does not prevent us from contacting you through other methods when legally permitted and appropriate for an existing business relationship.
A2P 10DLC and Messaging Compliance
For United States business text messaging, Twilio and mobile carriers may require A2P 10DLC registration. A campaign represents the messaging use case, such as account notifications, lead follow up, customer care, review requests, appointment reminders, or marketing. To register and operate those campaigns, we may collect and share required business and campaign information with Twilio, carrier registration partners, vetting partners, and mobile carriers.
Required registration information may include business identity details, tax or registration details, website URLs, privacy and terms URLs, sample messages, opt in workflows, opt out instructions, expected message volume, Messaging Service details, and phone numbers.
Client Messaging Services
Some Light Code Labs services let clients collect form submissions, receive SMS alerts, reply to leads, request reviews, send appointment reminders, or route customer conversations through SMS and related tools. When we process customer or lead information for a client system, we do so as a service provider to that client. Our clients are responsible for their own privacy notices, consent language, customer permissions, message content, and compliance with laws and carrier rules that apply to their business.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with trusted vendors who help us provide our services, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, register or operate communications campaigns, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
Current vendor categories include:
- Communications vendors, including Twilio, for SMS, phone numbers, calls, A2P 10DLC registration, and message delivery.
- Scheduling, form, CRM, analytics, automation, payment, email, hosting, and infrastructure vendors.
- Carrier, registration, and compliance partners when needed to register, verify, operate, or investigate messaging campaigns and phone numbers.
Data Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as needed for business, legal, operational, carrier compliance, consent record, and security purposes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@lightcodelabs.ai. We'll respond within a reasonable time and consistent with applicable law.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
